The best weather in a long time so decided to head out and to Wembury for another filming attempt. The wind was a lot weaker and I managed to get my final time-lapse shorts.

Beach Vanitas set up with roses shells, I used rocks and seaweed to hide the clockwork rotation device. - 6 seconds shot on the timelapse. 60 minute rotation. - mini-tripod- Nikon d80

Calmady Tomb camera set up - timer set to every 6 seconds - 2 timer units the skulls for a 360o turn were set to 60 minutes. The silver cup was set to 180o turn over 60 minutes.

Palm Oil problems

On attempting to film some of the rock pools for underwater footage i noticed that when i placed the Broom-cam in the waters they became weirdly murky, and made filming the underwater scenes i wanted difficult. I noticed on the return to my car there were warning signs stating that Palm oil had been washing up on the beach due to contuined stormy weather and warned to keep animals away due to it being toxic. I decided to rethink the scene I was going to shoot of the underwater panning shots of the skulls half buried in sand.

As the tide was on the turn I saw the perfect place to put the skull prop ,a pool with a fast flowing torrent. I weighed the hollow skull down with rocks and with limited room due to the tide coming in was able to set up the Nikon D80 on the mini tripod to film a quick timelapse before I ran out of places to stand. I also took the opportunity to film the skull from above with the Broom-Cam Go Pro as the effect of the water
